Easy, time-saving start-up

The free-of-charge Gira Project Assistant (GPA) makes straightforward start-up of the new Gira One Smart Home system possible: flexible, self-explanatory, with a guarantee of success. A step-by-step mode and the integration of accompanying video tutorials provide guidance through the entire start-up process. The GPA can be used to help prepare the customer’s project at the office with no need for the products. The settings selected can be easily copied to the Gira One devices later on at the construction site. To simplify handover to the customer, the GPA automatically generates individual, easy-to-follow and clearly structured documentation.

Gira One server – VDE-certified security

Our Gira One server is the central device for the Gira One system. It not only serves as a visualisation and start-up server, but also offers diagnostic, remote access and remote maintenance functions as well as other functionalities. This is why the Gira One server is equipped with robust protection against external threats. This has also now been confirmed by the VDE Institute, which has awarded the Gira One server its “Smart Home – Information Security Tested” certificate.

The functions of Gira One:
Smart. Versatile. Convenient.

Lighting

A versatile and atmospheric way to control the lighting to cater perfectly to whatever the user is doing – reading, eating, working, or relaxing. Settings are saved and can be activated again for each situation. Smart lighting such as Philips Hue is easy to add using the Gira Smart Home App.

 

Shading

Shutters and blinds can be raised or lowered as preferred: Down at sundown, for example, to maintain your privacy, or automatically up when there’s a storm to prevent damage. Convenient: move all blinds at the same time with just one click.

Climate control

Fully automatic heating and cooling adapted to requirements helps save energy. The smart heating control registers that windows have been open for longer than usual when airing out a room, and automatically shuts down. Everything can also be configured remotely by smartphone using the Gira Smart Home App.

Sound from Sonos

Users can add Sonos speakers on their own using the Gira Smart Home App, allowing them to play their favourite music directly. And that's not all it can do: be woken in the morning by music and light, or start up your favourite playlist by simply pressing a button.

Security

Whether it’s remote access to IP security cameras at home, switching off all devices using one central button, straightforward creation of presence simulation, or activating a panic scene at the touch of a button: Gira One ensures a comforting feeling of security.

Door communication

The Gira G1 central operating unit can be used to control both Gira One and Gira door communication. Gira Keyless In makes keyless entry to the building possible. The Gira DCS App can be used when out and about to speak to visitors outside the building and even open the door for them.

User-friendly operation

The functions provided by the Gira One Smart Home system can be operated in the usual way with standard buttons. The buttons are available to suit all Gira System 55 and Gira F100 design lines. What’s more, it can all be controlled using the Gira Smart Home App, the built-in Gira G1 central operating unit, or a smartphone or tablet when the user is out and about. Gira G1 can also be used as a home station for door communication.
