Design lines

The Gira design sys­tem in­cludes 12 design lines with more than 300 func­tions. You can choose from more than 90 frame vari­ants and vari­ous in­serts in a range of col­ours and ma­ter­i­als. Frames, switches and in­serts can be re­placed in­de­pend­ently of one an­other to add new func­tions or make aes­thetic state­ments. Gira products can there­fore be com­bined to fit in with any fur­nish­ing style. Gira’s design lines have won sev­eral in­ter­na­tion­ally renowned design awards.

Gira System 55 – the modular system with more than 300 functions

The Gira Sys­tem 55 com­bines a large se­lec­tion of mod­ern build­ing tech­no­logy func­tions with a wide range of design vari­ants. The key to it all: a single square meas­ur­ing 55 x 55 mm. This uni­form meas­ure­ment for func­tional mod­ules and match­ing frames makes the plan­ning, lo­gist­ics and in­stall­a­tion of switches and other build­ing tech­no­logy func­tions easier.

Gira E1

The new Gira E1 design line is a style-defining highlight in almost any environment – a minimalist and natural design which is nevertheless striking due to its soft contours.

E2

The Gira E2 design line com­bines pared-​down design with func­tional ma­ter­i­als and smart tech­no­logy. It is avail­able in four col­ours.

The Gira E3 design line com­bines roun­ded design con­tours with satin-​finish and glossy sur­faces in nine subtle shades. A wide vari­ety of designs can be cre­ated by com­bin­ing sup­port frames and in­serts in an­thra­cite or pure white glossy with the col­our­ful cover frames.

Esprit

The Gira Es­prit design line of­fers an un­usu­ally wide range of ma­ter­i­als. The clean frame shape is com­bined with se­lec­ted sur­faces com­prised of linoleum-​plywood, glass or dif­fer­ent types of metal.

Studio

Round and square, black and white: the new Gira Stu­dio design line in high-​quality glass fo­cuses on con­trasts. As a surface-​mounted vari­ant in trendy de­signer in­teri­ors, or as a flush-​mounted vari­ant in soph­ist­ic­ated liv­ing areas. When com­bined with in­serts from the Gira Sys­tem 55, Gira Stu­dio al­lows for a whole host of mod­ern designs and future-​proof in­stall­a­tions.

Standard 55

Gira Stand­ard 55 of­fers qual­ity with a wide range of op­tions for basic in­stall­a­tions. It con­sists of more than 300 func­tions for con­veni­ent, safe and eco­nom­ical elec­trical in­stall­a­tion in three dif­fer­ent col­ours.

Gira F100

The Gira F100 com­bines simple and time­less el­eg­ance with con­spicu­ous di­men­sions. It of­fers nu­mer­ous func­tions for more com­fort at home – from the Gira RDS flush-​mounted radio and home sta­tions from the Gira door com­mu­nic­a­tion sys­tem to func­tions for the KNX sys­tem as well as the wire­less sys­tem.

Gira TX_44 is the per­fect design line for use out­doors or in damp rooms, but it also has a role to play in in­terior design.

Water-protected surface-mounted

The Gira water-​protected, surface-​mounted range is a par­tic­u­larly ro­bust design line. It is suit­able for in­stall­a­tion in damp rooms and wherever there are par­tic­u­lar stresses. As a res­ult, it is per­fect for use in cel­lars, gar­ages, work­shops and in pro­duc­tion fa­cil­it­ies, as well as out­doors, of course.

The Gira surface-​mounted range is a neat solu­tion for dry rooms, where walls can't or shouldn't be prised open. It is moun­ted to the wall using simple clip in­stall­a­tion.

All switches, but­tons and SCHUKO socket out­lets with hinged cov­ers from the Gira Stand­ard 55, E2, and Gira F100 design lines can be in­stalled such that they are pro­tec­ted against water to IP 44 using spe­cial seal sets.

Using the Gira Design Con­fig­ur­ator, the many frame vari­ants of the Gira design lines can be com­bined with se­lec­ted func­tions in vari­ous col­ours and ma­ter­i­als from the Gira product range.
