More than 300 smart func­tions from the Gira Sys­tem 55 can be in­teg­rated into the frames of the Gira E3 design line to en­able cus­tom­ised con­veni­ence, value and se­cur­ity. For ex­ample, in ad­di­tion to socket out­lets and light switches, the frames can also house the Gira home sta­tion, the Gira flush-​mounted radio, Gira push­but­ton sensors and much more be­sides. All of the in­serts are avail­able in dif­fer­ent col­our vari­ants. Gira E3 ful­fils all the re­quire­ments of a mod­ern home and al­lows a mul­ti­tude of build­ing in­stall­a­tion func­tions to be im­ple­men­ted in a uni­form design lan­guage.

Gira eNet wireless wall transmitter

Gira eNet is the bi-​directional wire­less sys­tem for the smart net­work­ing of build­ing tech­no­logy, al­low­ing you to con­trol light­ing, blinds and scenes eas­ily and by re­mote. The battery-​operated Gira wire­less wall trans­mit­ters can be con­veni­ently placed pre­cisely where switches or but­tons are re­quired, re­gard­less of the mains con­nec­tions. They can be either se­curely moun­ted on the wall using screws or con­veni­ently at­tached to smooth sur­faces with ad­hes­ive strips. Bi-​colour LEDs in­dic­ate both the sig­nal trans­mis­sion status and the ac­tu­ator status.

Gira surface-mounted video home station Plus

A strik­ing fea­ture of the Gira surface-​mounted video home sta­tion is its ho­mo­gen­eous front panel, which har­mon­ises per­fectly with the clean sur­faces and con­tours of the Gira E3 design line. Its large 5.6 cm (2.2") TFT-​colour dis­play is flush with the touch-​sensitive but­tons on the con­trol panel. The user simply needs to gently touch the ap­pro­pri­ate sym­bol. In order to en­sure greater op­er­a­tional re­li­ab­il­ity, in­ternal calls and switch­ing ac­tions can be as­signed in­di­vidual names. The speak­erphone func­tion of­fers ex­cel­lent voice qual­ity, even if the speaker is not stand­ing dir­ectly in front of the mi­cro­phone.

Gira Sensotec LED

Find­ing your way safely in the dark and switch­ing on the room light if needed with a single con­tact­less mo­tion: the Gira Sensotec LED unites these func­tions in one device. The Gira Sensotec LED is a con­tact­less switch with in­teg­rated LED ori­ent­a­tion light. When mo­tion is de­tec­ted, it switches on the ori­ent­a­tion light. If more light is needed, the user can switch on the light­ing with a single con­tact­less mo­tion from a dis­tance of 5 cm. The il­lu­min­a­tion in­tens­ity can be ad­jus­ted in auto­matic mode to pre­vent glare.

Gira RDS flush-mounted radio

The Gira RDS flush-​mounted radio simply sits in the wall – just like your light switches and socket out­lets. This does away with the need for an­noy­ing cables, and work sur­faces and coun­ters can be kept free. The speaker has been com­pletely re­designed to give the RDS flush-​mounted radio a pure sound – and in ex­cel­lent ste­reo qual­ity when the Gira ad­di­tional speaker, which is avail­able as an op­tion, is con­nec­ted. Adding a Gira dock­ing sta­tion to the sys­tem al­lows you to con­nect ex­ternal music sources to the Gira RDS flush-​mounted radio or a ste­reo sys­tem via Bluetooth, and also provides a fixed char­ging unit for a wide vari­ety of mo­bile devices.

Gira pushbutton sensor 3 Plus

The Gira touch sensor 3 Plus guar­an­tees a par­tic­u­larly high level of con­veni­ence when op­er­at­ing nu­mer­ous KNX func­tions. In ad­di­tion to an in­teg­rated tem­per­at­ure sensor to meas­ure the local tem­per­at­ure, it also fea­tures a con­trol­ler for dir­ect room tem­per­at­ure con­trol. An ex­ternal tem­per­at­ure sensor can also be con­nec­ted if de­sired. Moreover, the touch sensor 3 Plus is equipped with a graphic dis­play. It is used to clearly dis­play tem­per­at­ure val­ues, the con­trol­ler status and mes­sages re­ceived via the KNX sys­tem.

Gira SCHUKO socket outlet with
LED orientation light

The Gira SCHUKO socket out­let with LED ori­ent­a­tion light has a re­cessed light strip that pro­jects a light cor­ridor down­wards by means of a white LED. This provides glare-​free, in­dir­ect ori­ent­a­tion light­ing. The Gira socket out­let with LED ori­ent­a­tion light also fea­tures a twi­light sensor that auto­mat­ic­ally turns on the light when dark­ness sets in and switches it off again when there is enough nat­ural light.
