The Gira E2 design line – simplified, angular design

Thanks to its clear, sim­pli­fied design, the time­lessly beau­ti­ful Gira E2 design line fits per­fectly into a wide range of fur­nish­ing styles. The design has been re­duced to the bare es­sen­tials without com­prom­ising on its unique qual­ity. It boasts a mod­ern and time­less pure white and cream white glossy sur­face made of shat­ter­proof, UV-​resistant and easy-​care ther­mo­plastic. The Gira E2 design line is al­ways an ex­cel­lent choice. The new Gira E2 design frames with frame di­men­sions 86 x 86 mm in the col­ours pure white (Item No. 7211039) and cream white (Item No. 7211019) for the Chinese mar­ket can be op­tim­ally in­stalled on the Chinese flush-​mounted box. It is there­fore no longer ne­ces­sary to make fur­ther modi­fic­a­tions dur­ing in­stall­a­tion, which saves both time and money.

Touch-​sensitive but­tons and a high-​contrast il­lu­min­ated dis­play make op­er­at­ing the Gira Sys­tem 3000 Dis­play blind timer easier than ever be­fore. In ad­di­tion to manual op­er­a­tion, the cur­rent time can be saved to pro­gramme the move­ment times for all seven days. Al­tern­at­ively, the set­tings can be cus­tom­ised sep­ar­ately for spe­cific days via the menu. The changeover between sum­mer and winter time is car­ried out auto­mat­ic­ally.

The Gira touch sensor 3 Plus guar­an­tees a par­tic­u­larly high level of con­veni­ence when op­er­at­ing nu­mer­ous KNX func­tions. In ad­di­tion to an in­teg­rated tem­per­at­ure sensor to meas­ure the local tem­per­at­ure, it also fea­tures a con­trol­ler for dir­ect room tem­per­at­ure con­trol. An ex­ternal tem­per­at­ure sensor can also be con­nec­ted if de­sired. The graphic dis­play clearly shows tem­per­at­ure val­ues, con­trol­ler status, and mes­sages from the KNX sys­tem.

Gira Key­less In Fin­ger­print is based upon a bio­met­ric sys­tem and uses what is pos­sibly the old­est means of iden­ti­fic­a­tion: the fin­ger­print. Fin­ger­prints are ab­so­lutely unique, and this makes them un­beat­able as an entry code when paired with the latest bio­met­ric iden­ti­fic­a­tion pro­cess. Gira works with high-​frequency tech­no­logy, which is cur­rently one of the most se­cure meth­ods on the mar­ket for key­less entry to a build­ing.

Gira USB power supply, 2-gang

For the first time, Gira is of­fer­ing a USB power sup­ply with two sock­ets for in­stall­a­tion in the flush-​mounted device box, which will match the design line. Mo­bile devices such as smart­phones and cam­eras can be charged dir­ectly via the Gira USB power sup­ply without the need for an ad­di­tional char­ger. The char­ging cur­rent is up to 2100 mA, which al­lows even the most power-​hungry devices to be charged.
