For even more safety, comfort and efficiency, the functions of the Gira Dual Q smoke alarm device can be expanded through other devices available as optional extras: Networking up to 40 devices by wire or wirelessly, checking their functionality at ground or floor level or even from outside the room, integrating them into the KNX system or connecting them to external alarm devices.

KNX module for Dual Q smoke alarm device

The Gira KNX module enables the Gira Dual Q smoke alarm device to be connected to a KNX system. As a result, fault messages from a smoke alarm device can be registered and the source room pinpointed, which enables targeted initial countermeasures to be activated. Blinds and roller shutters can be automatically raised and windows opened, for example. The front door can also be unlocked, the light along escape routes switched on, and much more.
