Heating control manually or via Bluetooth App

The Gira System 3000 room temperature controller ensures the right feel-good temperature with an integrated heating and cooling program. With its time programming, it offers the most intelligent way of controlling individual rooms according to demand while saving costs and going easy on resources, e.g. in the event of absence or reduced use. The room temperature can be regulated either with the display device or with a Bluetooth top unit with control via an app with a smartphone or tablet.

The Gira System 3000 operating top units for room temperature control

Intuitive operation and programming with the Gira System 3000 room temperature controller display

The system automatically recognizes that the operating element is mounted on the insert used to control the room temperature. Touch-sensitive buttons and a high-contrast illuminated display make the room temperature controller display easier than ever to operate. The functions range from direct manual settings to automatic control options.

In addition to manual operation, the current time can be taken for all seven days at the touch of a button in order to program the switching times. Alternatively, custom settings can be made separately for weekdays and the weekend via the menu. It is especially convenient that the changeover between summer and winter time is automatic.

Easy operation using the Gira System 3000 App

Conveniently program and control from the comfort of your own sofa whenever you need to: The operating top unit of the Gira System 3000 Bluetooth room temperature controller takes room temperature control to a whole new level. Your smartphone or tablet becomes a control centre. The Gira System 3000 App gives you a clear overview of all the settings on a large screen, putting you in complete control. Time programs that have already been created can be easily copied into additional operating top units. With the v1.4 update, all existing Bluetooth top units can be updated via the app. From Autumn onwards, top units will automatically have the update.

The blocking function and the night mode of the status LED can be controlled via the app.

Time switching points can be activated individually

Previously, timers could only be activated and deactivated at the same time. This can now be done for each timer separately. For example, temporary simulations can be set during holidays.

Astro function

The expansion of the Astro function means that individual evaluations of sunrise and sunset are also possible, and that the earliest and latest switching point can be adjusted.

Colour temperature adjustment is now also possible with BT top units as well as manual top units.

A modular system consisting of power inserts and operating top units offers the greatest possible scope for implementing functions. The room temperature control can be controlled on site with the operating element and also via Bluetooth (Komfort version).

Easy and flexible installation

The Gira System 3000 has many practical features for simplified installation and start-up. With an extra-flat installation depth of only 24 millimetres, the new inserts now leave more space in the flush-mounted box and thus offer more flexibility when wiring. Recessed mounting claws make the installation easier and ensure greater safety. The connected consumers can be started up with a test button for function control without an operating top unit. The basic power is only 0.2 to 0.5 W, depending on the operating top unit.

Installation steps

Thanks to the recessed mounting claws, the System 3000 inserts can be easily mounted in the flush-mounted box. With an installation depth of only 24 mm, they leave a great deal of space in the flush-mounted box and thus offer more flexibility for wiring.

The selected frame is mounted on the flush-mounted insert before the operating top unit is inserted.

The frame and operating top unit create a harmonious overall picture on the wall. With ten design lines and over 75 frame variants, Gira’s design system opens up a wide range of design options.
