Patient or resident rooms

Plus room terminal

The room terminal is the central operation unit for patient or resident rooms. Large buttons serve to mark the presence of care personnel and doctors and to trigger calls and emergency calls. An integrated dot matrix display with backlighting shows the most important information. The intercom function is provided via the intercom module Plus, which is available separately.

Intercom module Plus

The intercom module Plus is used to provide the intercom function for the nurse call system 834 Plus. The full duplex function allows both parties to speak at the same time. The intercom module Plus can be connected to call and switch-off buttons with an ancillary plug contact. To guarantee the voice capability of the devices mentioned above, the room must be equipped with either a room terminal or a duty room terminal.

Room module with call and presence button Plus

The room module with call and presence button can be used instead of a room terminal in rooms without an intercom function. It then takes on the same monitoring functions as the room terminal.

Call button Plus

The call button Plus is equipped with a red button. It is used to trigger calls and contains a red LED as a location or reassurance light.

Call and switch-off button with ancillary plug contact and diagnostic jack Plus

The call and switch-off button Plus is equipped with one red and one green button. The red button is used to trigger calls, and the green one is used to cancel them. The ancillary plug contact is used to connect pear buttons, patient hand-held devices with intercom function or wireless sets. Medical devices can be connected to trigger a diagnostic call via the diagnostic jack.

Presence button Plus

The presence button Plus is available with one button each in green or yellow or with two buttons in green and yellow. Presence is indicated by care personnel using the green or yellow button. This prepares an emergency call and enables acoustic call forwarding.

Doctor alert button Plus

The doctor alert button (blue) features a blue button that calls a doctor for assistance. It contains a red LED as a location/reassurance light.

Pear button

The pear button is a patient hand-held device with call triggering and location light or reassurance light. After a call/emergency call is triggered, the reassurance light becomes brighter. It is connected to a call button with an ancillary plug contact using the 2 m long connection cable and the 8-pole plug.

Patient hand-held device with intercom function

The patient hand-held device is used for triggering calls, discreet communication and switching connected light sources. Calls/emergency calls are triggered using the red button. Pressing the red button enables discreet communication via the hand-held device. The patient hand-held device with intercom function also has two yellow light buttons that enable two separate light sources to be controlled.

Wireless sets

The wireless sets are made up of a mobile transmitter for triggering calls and a receiver with an 8-pole plug that is suitable for connection to an ancillary plug contact.

Diagnostic jack 2-gang Plus

The diagnostic jack 2-gang Plus offers connection options for 2 medical devices. For example, if the connected device malfunctions, the triggering of a zero-voltage contact triggers a diagnostic call.
