The Gira G1 cannot currently be operated together with the eNet Server Version 2.1.
A new version for the G1 eNet SMART HOME Client will be released as soon as possible, which can work together with the eNet Server V2.1.
Important information
After the firmware update the Gira G1 is protected by a device password. The password can be found on a label on the Gira G1. If no password is noted here, the password is "device". Please change the device password during configuration.
To illustrate the start-up and provide support, a brief training video has been made to explain the firmware update. You can find the video in the Gira Academy. It is available in English, Dutch and German.
New functions
With the firmware update v102.0.23 the Gira G1 can also be used as a client in systems with a Gira eNet server. All functions of the Gira eNet server are supported thereby.
In addition, the version contains the improved operating behaviour for eNet momentary-contact actuators regarding long-press operation and status feedback.
Please note that the following functions are not supported in this version:
- Door communication
- Weather service
- Alarm system
Further releases are already planned for these functions.
The following restrictions also apply:
- Installing firmware v102.0.20 on a Gira G1 with version 1.1.196 leads to complications that render the device unusable. Should this occur, the device must be sent in for servicing.
- During a firmware update via WLAN, the Gira Project Assistant erroneously displays that the update was not successful. Please check on the Gira G1 whether the update was successful.
- In the case of operation with a PoE application, no connection via WLAN is possible although this is offered by the Gira G1.
EN
