The logic module is used to specify a setpoint value depending on a (KNX room temperature controller) operating mode. The module has been realised to enable operation via the function template Heating plus in the QuadClient.
There are application options in specifying a setpoint temperature for hot water heating depending on the operating mode or in specifying a brightness value for constant light control or the volume of an audio system. There are other interesting possibilities when the value of a light scene is used instead of a specific setpoint value. In this way, depending on the operating mode, a complete "comfort, standby, night or frost protection scene" can be called up.

Functions of the logic module:

• Various operating modes can be activated: Comfort, standby, night and frost/heat protection

• Specific setpoint values can be assigned to each operating mode. Functionality of presence object or presence detector object can be selected

• Functionality of the presence button: Comfort extension is possible using the presence button in night or frost/heat protection mode. Parameterisable duration of the comfort extension

• Operating mode changeover using 1-byte objects in accordance with the KNX specification
• Operating mode changeover using 1-byte forced objects in accordance with the KNX specification
• Absolute specified setpoint of active operating mode
