The logic node is used in conjunction with the KNX gateway from the company Schüco in order to evaluate the latest status or event information from the Schüco system.

A separate logic node must be used for each window/slider element, and connected to the KNX gateway by means of group addresses.

Together with the QuadClient function template "Schüco – window/slider element", current system statuses for an element can be displayed within the Gira QuadClient and movement commands (open/close, stop and position) can be triggered.

The following communication objects of the KNX gateway are evaluated by the logic node:

• Report status (4 bytes)
• Report event (2 bytes)

The logic node provides the following information at the outputs:

• Element status (1 byte)
• QuadClient element status (1 byte)
• Event active (1 bit)
• Event type (1 byte)
• Event number (1 byte)
• Status as text in hexadecimal representation
• Event as text in hexadecimal representation

Please note: Overall functionality depends greatly on the configuration of the KNX gateway.

The logic note can only be used to evaluate slider elements comprising one element or window elements.
