The module is used to control a 3-speed fan. The basic operation of the fan was modelled on the operation of car air conditioners.

Manual mode: Following release, the user can directly specify the fan speed (values 0-3 on Input 2) or can switch off the fan directly (1 signal on Input 5). In addition, it is possible to switch between the fan speeds 1-3 and Fan Off as desired via the inputs Speed + or Speed –.

Automatic mode: Automatic mode is activated via Input 6 and set to the specified fan speed via Input 7. When automatic mode is activated, a 1 signal on the inputs Speed–, Speed +, the input "Switch off" or the direct speed specification results in switching over into the Manual mode. After another main release, the operating mode (speed) active before the lock-out is active. To illustrate the processes, the module contains not only the status outputs, but also a 14-byte output for plain text messages.
