The sample project for the ETS 4 shows the parameterisation of the KNX presence detector Comfort (Gira Order No. 2106 xx) as a main unit with 2 auxiliary units and a switching actuator (Gira Order No. 1006 00) for brightness-dependent operation. In the sample project all required communication objects are connected together via group addresses. If motion is detected, it deactivates the brightness evaluation in the auxiliary units. Thus the auxiliary units function regardless of the brightness when lighting has already been switched on and another motion is detected. Because of the feedback of the actuator switching status, accidental triggering is decreased by light sources which switch off.
In addition, there is an option of locking out the presence detectors for cleaning mode. When cleaning mode is activated by a 1-telegram to Object 16 "Lock-out in the main and auxiliary units" the lighting is switched on and presence evaluation is locked out. At the end of cleaning mode (0-telegram) presence evaluation is enabled again. The light remains switched on until it switches off again after presence has been detected again and the switch-on time has elapsed.
