Extended Average - MAHO LABS
The node stores every incoming measured value with a timestamp and continuously calculates the moving average along with a full set of statistics. Values that fall outside the configured time window are removed automatically – no manual housekeeping is required.
The period can be chosen freely from seconds to days and entered in several formats, such as 30s, 15m, 24h or 7d. The history can optionally be stored so that it survives a restart of the device. The node works with any numeric value – temperature, power consumption, wind speed or any other measurand.
Key features:
• Eleven outputs: moving average, 25 % quartile, median, 75 % quartile, minimum, maximum, range, standard deviation, variance, hourly trend and value count.
• Freely selectable time window from seconds to days, changeable at runtime via an input.
• Automatic housekeeping: values outside the time window are discarded on their own.
• Trend detection: change per hour between the oldest and newest value – for predictive automation.
• Optional persistence: the history can be retained across a restart.
• Update input for time-controlled housekeeping even when no new values arrive.
