Actuator Auto/Manual Switch - MAHO LABS
The actuator auto/manual switch cleanly separates automatic from manual commands. The node detects an incoming manual command on its own and switches to manual mode immediately – no additional switching command is required. When automatic mode is selected again, the last known setpoints can either be sent straight away or the node waits for the next automatic command.
Direct ETS operation is particularly useful: if the push buttons are already linked to the actuator in the ETS, forwarding of manual commands can be switched off. The node still detects the intervention and blocks the automation, but does not resend the command – so no duplicate telegrams appear on the KNX bus.
Key features
• Automatic detection of manual intervention on blind position, slat position, long and short travel commands.
• Two return behaviours: send the last automatic value immediately, or wait for the next automatic command.
• Direct ETS operation: manual commands only trigger the mode change without being sent to the actuator again.
• Clean restart: no unwanted zero values are sent to the actuators after a system restart.
• Mode status output for showing the current operating mode in the visualisation.
• Universally applicable to blinds, shutters, awnings and other actuators with position and slat control.
