Gira wireless socket outlet adapter

The Gira wireless socket outlet adapters are used as a connection piece between a socket outlet and a device plug in order to facilitate the wireless control of mobile devices such as floor and table lamps, radios, kettles and coffee machines. An adapter variant for switching and one for dimming are available. Both feature integrated increased content protection.

Operation, function

A wide variety of electrical devices can be switched on or off wirelessly using the Gira wireless socket outlet adapter switch. Devices can be switched on or off from the comfort of an armchair using the Gira wireless hand-held transmitter, for example, or by the door using a Gira wireless wall transmitter. Connected lights can also be integrated into a maximum of 5 light scenes.

Gira wireless socket outlet adapter dimmer

The Gira wireless socket outlet adapter dimmer is another variant of the Gira wireless bus system and has an integrated universal dimmer, which allows floor and table lamps not only to be switched on/off, but also to be dimmed using wireless hand-held transmitters or wireless wall transmitters. Integration into up to five light scenes and assignment of up to 30 wireless channels is possible. In addition, the light's preset brightness level can be saved in the wireless socket outlet adapter dimmer and called up as the switch-on brightness.

  • 750 VA LV halogen for wound transformer with at least 85% rated load
  • 750 W LV halogen, Gira Tronic transformer
  • 500 VA fluorescent lamps, uncompensated
  • 400 VA fluorescent lamps, with parallel compensation
  • 1000 VA fluorescent lamps, lead-lag circuit
  • Watch out for high inrush peak currents when using 'energy saving lamps'. Check suitability of the lamps before use.

  • 230 V light bulbs (ohmic load, trailing edge)
  • HV halogen (ohmic load, trailing edge)
  • Gira Tronic transformers (capacitive load, trailing edge)

  • Mixed loads of specified load types. For mixed loads with wound transformers, do not exceed a 50% ohmic load (light bulbs, HV halogen).
