Cubity is an experimental residence in Frankfurt-Niederrad, which offers twelve students alternative comfortable living. The concept was developed as part of Solar Decathlon Europe 2014, an international architecture competition. University teams were asked to present concepts for energy-plus, single-family houses.

State Music Academy, Saxony in Colditz Castle

The imposing structure looks back on an eventful history: The current castle complex at Colditz was largely built in the 16th century in the Late Gothic and Renaissance styles. It served the Saxon lords for hunting parties, and later as a prison and retirement home as well as a hospital and nursing home. At the end of the 20th century, the Free State of Saxony made funding available for renovation. Planners Heidelmann & Klingebiel in Dresden were commissioned for the extensive construction works.

German School Madrid

Founded back in 1896, the German School Madrid is one of the oldest German international schools. In 2009, the Berlin-based office Grüntuch Ernst Architects won the competition to construct a new building. The result is a building which houses a nursery school, primary school and secondary school for approx. 300 nursery school children and 1,500 pupils.

As initiator, builder and operator of the NETZWERK training centre, the interior fittings company Baierl + Demmelhuber sets a new example in Töging am Inn, the industrial structure of which has evolved over decades. University of Economics in Vienna

After just four years of construction, an unusual and extremely exciting campus was inaugurated in October 2013: the University of Economics in Vienna. Both the schedule and the budget of approximately 492 million Euros were successfully adhered to. Following the master plan by Vienna-based architects BUSarchitektur, six building complexes were created that were designed by six different international architects.

Former carriage house in Bergen op Zoom

The carriage house in Bergen op Zoom has existed since the 16th century. Originally a barn, the building was later used for a variety of purposes: as a storage facility for cereals, flour and food, as a gymnasium, children's library and exhibition space. A large cellar space has remained intact as well as the north and east façade.

As part of its family-friendly corporate policy, Gira has built a childcare centre on its company premises with the support of Radevormwald town council. The centre accepts infants and pre-nursery school children from six months up to the age of 3. During the planning phase for the building, special attention was paid to well-being and design. Thus a lively group of little ones in the Gira childcare centre is the latest addition to the company.

EnBW Youth Training Centre for VfB Stuttgart

After nearly 15 months of construction, the EnBW Youth Training Centre for VfB Stuttgart was inaugurated at the end of 2014. The building, which cost approximately 9 million Euros, is located on the club grounds in Bad Cannstatt, and offers new dressing rooms with more space and comfort for young VfB talent in the U11 to U23 categories.

The firm Enno Schneider Architekten in Berlin and Detmold is responsible for the new construction of the Fraunhofer project group "Functional Lightweight Design (FIL)" and the "Center for Lightweight Production Technology (ZLP)" of the German Aerospace Center.

The Joanneum Universal Museum was founded by Archduke Johann in 1811. Today, it is the oldest Austrian museum which is accessible to the public and the largest universal museum in central Europe.
