Gira stainless steel door station

Like all Gira door stations, the stainless steel door station also features modern microprocessor technology. The advantage of this technology: a voice-controlled intercom as well as echo and background noise suppression. The speaker’s voice volume is adjustable.

It sees it all: the Gira colour camera with wide-angle lens. It effectively covers an area of 100°. For alignment, the lens can additionally be swivelled manually by 20° in any direction. Temperature-dependent heating provides protection at sub-zero temperatures. Note: If the colour camera is used, the video control device is required. In the event of damage, the camera dome can be replaced independently of the electronics.

A further feature: day/night switching. If the ambient brightness drops below a value of 1 lux, it automatically switches over from day to night mode. During the day, the colour camera ensures optimal colour rendering by means of automatic backlighting compensation, gain control and white balance. At night, it delivers extremely clear black and white images thanks to its light sensitivity. In order for the CCD sensor to detect all the details in the dark, the colour camera is additionally equipped with LEDs for uniform illumination of the camera's field of view.

The front plate, which is 3 mm thick and made from high-quality V2A stainless steel, is particularly robust. The front plate and name plates match up nearly seamlessly, so nothing can be inserted in the cracks. The speakerphone functions are also concealed behind the stainless steel plate in order to protect the speaker and microphone.

The 5 mm-thick, toughened glass cover plates are protected against spray water, can withstand heavy blows, fire or scratching and are especially easy to clean. The inscription labels can be removed from the door station without disassembly. The unlocking device is concealed. The bell buttons made of robust stainless steel are also extremely durable.

Due to the concealed design of the speaker and microphone, it is not possible to destroy the hands-free unit with a sharp object. Like all Gira door stations, the hands-free unit is equipped with the latest microprocessor technology.
