Gira room terminals

The room terminal is the central control and operating unit for patient or resident rooms. Large buttons serve to mark the presence of care personnel and doctors and to trigger calls and emergency calls. The red button is used to trigger calls and contains a red LED as a location/reassurance light. The green button with a green presence lamp is used for presence marking. The yellow button can additionally be used to display the presence of a second caregiver. The blue button also features a red location or reassurance light, and triggers a doctor alert. A 2x8-digit dot matrix display with backlighting shows the most important information.

The various call buttons at the bed or in the patient's bathroom are connected in star-shaped wiring to the room terminal or a room module and monitored by it. The room terminal has bed marking for up to four beds, so that you can see which bed triggered a call. A room signal light can be connected to the room terminal for optical call signalling in the hallway.
