Gira Project Assistant

  • Step-by-step start-up of the Gira One system, incl. video tutorials
  • No time-consuming training courses required
  • No ETS costs, complete start-up using the free-of-charge GPA
  • Individual document creation by the Smart Home App for the end customer at the press of a button
  • Gira One uses encrypted communication and thereby meets the highest security requirements. Device certificates are convenient and quick to scan using your smartphone.

A Smart Home in just a few steps with Gira One

The latest GPA version 5.0 offers a self-explanatory, step-by-step start-up process for the new Gira One Smart Home system. Videos for all the steps are integrated in the GPA so that you can familiarise yourself with the software quickly and effectively.

1. Drag and drop is used to define the building structure. You can choose any symbols and room designations you like.

2. The Gira One server is dragged into the control cabinet from the device library to give it a fixed location.

3. The next step involves determining which electrical loads (e.g. lights) and devices (e.g. switches) should be installed in the individual rooms.

4. The step “Configure devices” links all electrical loads to the buttons and actuators. The device certificates required for the Gira One devices are convenient to scan using a smartphone.

5. The password for the Gira Smart Home App is defined in the user management. The same password is used for the diagnostic page of the Gira One server, which contains an extensive bus monitor for any troubleshooting required.

6. As a last step, the project is copied to the Gira One server. For this, the server only has to be in the same network as the end device. The GPA automatically searches for the Gira One server, automatically connects to the device and then copies the project.
